Getting Started

  • You don't have to figure it out alone! During our initial consultation, we get to know your child’s learning style, goals, and personality so we can pair them with the ideal instructor for their needs—whether that's specialized ESL, dual-language support, or foundational literacy coaching. We'll then recommend the best session frequency for your family, whether that's 1x/week for foundational support, or 2x–3x/week for accelerated growth.

  • We specialize in supporting elementary and middle school students, primarily focusing on grades K–8. Whether your learner is a young reader building foundational decoding skills or an older student needing targeted literacy intervention, ESL support, or bilingual scaffolding, our instruction is tailored to their specific developmental level.

  • Yes! We offer virtual, in-person, and hybrid instruction options. You can select your preferred session format directly from the available service descriptions when scheduling through our online booking portal.

Enrollment, Packages & Billing

  • Instructional sessions are offered as pre-purchased monthly packages. Packages are paid in full upfront through our secure online system before booking your dates and times. We offer three distinct tiers tailored to your child's goals:

    • Core Package: 4 sessions/month ($480.00 total) for 1x/week foundational coaching.

    • Plus Package: 8 sessions/month ($880.00 total) for 2x/week targeted intervention.

    • Plus Extra Package: 12 sessions/month ($1,200.00 total) for 3x/week comprehensive skill-building.

    All packages are non-refundable, non-transferable, and sessions must be scheduled and completed within 60 days of purchase.

  • You can reschedule or adjust booked sessions independently through our online portal at any time up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time, and your session credit will be returned to your account.

    Cancellations or rescheduling attempts made with less than 24 hours' notice are strictly prohibited, resulting in immediate forfeiture of the session credit without refund or makeup option. Additionally, instructors will wait up to 15 minutes for late arrivals before a session is marked as a late forfeit.

  • All sessions included within a purchased package must be scheduled and completed within sixty (60) days of purchase. Unused credits expire after 60 days and are non-refundable and non-transferable.

The Learning Experience

  • Each 50-minute session is structured around a clear, evidence-based routine designed to build both skill and student agency:

    • Session Preview & Goal Setting: We open with a quick check-in to outline the day's specific learning targets, ensuring students understand what they are working on and why.

    • Explicit Instruction: We introduce and model core literacy or language concepts using systematic frameworks and cognitive scaffolding adjusted to your child's pace.

    • Guided & Interactive Application: Students practice new skills through targeted reading passages, digital tools, or dual-language activities while receiving immediate, constructive feedback.

    • Review & Reflection: We conclude with a brief wrap-up to highlight progress made during the session, reinforce key takeaways, and discuss next steps.

  • We integrate research-backed English language development frameworks, drawing from SIOP (Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol) models and WIDA standards—the national benchmark for English language proficiency. These are the same gold-standard practices used by top bilingual educators across the field. By leveraging native language assets as a bridge, utilizing visual supports, and explicitly teaching academic vocabulary within meaningful contexts, we ensure complex concepts are accessible while accelerating both English proficiency and grade-level literacy skills.

  • We believe clear, consistent communication with families is essential to every student’s success. We track both quantitative data—such as reading growth, mastery of target skills, and metric updates included with your package tier—and qualitative markers like confidence, engagement, and genuine joy in reading. Progress is shared through regular updates and open dialogue, ensuring parents are always connected to their child's learning journey and celebrating both academic milestones and personal growth.
