Welcome to The Reading Lugar LLC. By accessing or using our website, purchasing our class packages, or utilizing our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read these Terms carefully before using our site or booking services.

1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

• 1.1 Acceptance: By accessing this website, purchasing an instructional package, or booking a session, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and any operational policies set forth by The Reading Lugar LLC.

• 1.2 Parent/Guardian Authorization: If you are booking services on behalf of a minor student, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian of the student and have the legal authority to agree to these Terms on their behalf.

2. Description of Services

The Reading Lugar LLC provides specialized, evidence-based academic coaching, literacy intervention, bilingual/immersion support, and English as a Second Language (ESL) educational consulting services for elementary and middle school students. Services are delivered in dedicated 50-minute one-on-one time blocks designed around systematic frameworks (including SIOP and WIDA alignments), cognitive scaffolding, and individualized learning plans.

3. Package Tiers, Pricing, & Pacing Flexibility

• 3.1 Upfront Payment: All instructional sessions are offered as pre-purchased packages. Packages must be paid in full prior to scheduling or attending sessions. Payments are processed securely via our checkout system.

• 3.2 Package Structure:

  • Single Session: 1 Session | $120/hr ($120.00 total)

    • Includes: Standalone instruction & flexible scheduling

  • Core Support Package: 4 Sessions | $110/hr ($440.00 total)

    • Includes: Foundational coaching & metric logging (Suggested pacing: 1x/week)

  • Plus Pathway Package: 8 Sessions | $100/hr ($800.00 total)

    • Includes: Targeted intervention & mid-month data updates (Suggested pacing: 2x/week)

  • Plus Extra Pathway Package: 12 Sessions | $90/hr ($1,080.00 total)

    • Includes: Comprehensive pathway & priority tracking (Suggested pacing: 3x/week)

• 3.3 Package Expiration & Pacing Flexibility: Package purchases are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. All sessions included within a package must be scheduled and completed within sixty (60) days of purchase. Clients maintain full flexibility to distribute and schedule session credits at their preferred pacing across the 60-day window (e.g., weekly or multiple times per week). Unused session credits remaining after 60 days expire automatically without refund or rollover.

4. Scheduling, Cancellations, & Punctuality

• 4.1 Self-Service Scheduling: Clients receive access to our online booking portal following package purchase to select their preferred session dates and times from open calendar slots.

• 4.2 Rescheduling (More than 24 Hours Notice): Sessions may be rescheduled or modified independently via the online portal up to twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled start time. Credits for rescheduled sessions will be returned to your account to rebook within the 60-day package validity period.

• 4.3 Late Cancellations & Forfeiture (Within 24 Hours): Cancellations or attempts to reschedule made less than 24 hours prior to a session's scheduled start time cannot be processed. Sessions missed or canceled within this 24-hour window will result in forfeiture of the session credit without refund or makeup options.

• 4.4 Punctuality & Late Arrivals: Sessions begin and end strictly at their scheduled times. If a student arrives late, instruction will conclude at the original end time. Instructors will wait up to fifteen (15) minutes; if the student does not join after 15 minutes, the session is treated as a late forfeit and lost without remedy.

5. User Responsibilities

Users and clients agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during enrollment and booking.

• Ensure students are prepared and logged in/present on time for scheduled sessions with appropriate hardware and internet connectivity.

• Use the website and services strictly for lawful, respectful, and educational purposes.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website and provided during instructional sessions—including text, lesson plans, graphics, educational frameworks, and digital materials—is the intellectual property of The Reading Lugar LLC or its licensors. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is is prohibited without prior written consent.

7. Instructional Outcomes & Service Disclaimer

The Reading Lugar LLC delivers evidence-based educational coaching designed to foster meaningful skill development. However, academic progress relies on multiple individual variables, and specific learning outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Our services and website content are provided without express or implied warranties regarding specific academic results.

8. Changes to Terms

The Reading Lugar LLC reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted directly to our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of our site or services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
